Black Cherry Block BC339 1.7" x 1.9" x 8" 0.7 lbs. This is an attractive end-grain block of Black Cherry. It is 100% light pinkish-brown heartwood. This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. We cut multiples of this size blank, so the one you receive will not necessarily be shown in the photos. These are rough-sawn on one or more faces, and there may be a few surface marks from sawblade friction that will sand off readily. There may be an occasional knot or minor crack in these which you may wish to reinforce with CA glue. These are beautiful pieces of cherry that you will enjoy turning! |
