This is an end-grain block of Huisache (sweet acacia). It is the bright rosy/reddish-brown of Huisache heartwood with a bit of contrasting creamy sapwood. This piece is rough-sawn.

This piece has been air-dried to 8-10% moisture content. There is one minor crack that you can either turn off or fill with CA glue.
