Texas Ebony Block TE908 1.5" x 1.5" x 7.8" 0.8 lbs. This beautiful block of Texas Ebony is about 70% the dark chocolate-brown of Texas Ebony heartwood and 30% the lighter honey-blonde of Texas Ebony sapwood. The grain is parallel to the long axis of the spindle and has some sweeping curves to it. This board has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or other flaws in this piece. It's a beauty! |
