Texas Ebony Block TE-739 1.7" x 1.7" x 5.8" 0.75 lbs. This attractive Texas Ebony block is 100% heartwood. Its color is dark chocolate-brown. The grain pattern is mostly linear across the block, except for near several branch buds where it has beautiful swirls. The block has several areas of weaker grain and a void at one end. I recommend filling with CA glue or epoxy prior to working with the block. Black CA glue is especially attractive with Texas Ebony and is our go-to color.
