Red Oak Block RO-5 3.7" x 3.8" x 6" 3 lbs. This is a very pretty-but-imperfect block of Texas Red Oak. It's got cracks along one edge and overall is a bit mis-shapen from the drying process (it's rough sawn and air-dried). The color is a warm honey-brown. There is an intra-trunk branch in one corner that sets up some very pretty swirls and patterns around it. In the rest of the block, the grain is fairly linear. |
