This is a set of 3 Mesquite blocks.  These are from 3 different trees, so the heartwood tone is different from piece to piece.  This is a nice starter Mesquite pack, giving you an introduction to turning Honey Mesquite.

They've each been air-dried for years to a moisture content of 10-12%.   One block has a tiny wane edge that will turn off.   The smallest block has a crack you'll want to treat with CA glue if turning.
