This is a small end-grain block of colorful Texas Huisache. It is entirely the bright rosy/reddish-brown of Huisache heartwood with a strong, gently undulating grain pattern.  There are several burl buds and their associated rays that catch the light in a very pretty way. 

There are a few small cracks that you may wish to stabilize.  Were I working with this block, I would fill them with CA glue before turning.
