Black Walnut Board BW-322 1" x 2.7" x 16.7" 1.3 lbs. This is an attractive, uniform board of lightly spalted Black Walnut. It spans the transition from heartwood to sapwood with a smooth color gradation and a clean, uncomplicated grain pattern. The colors are an overall light and medium brown with bands of darker-brown spalting. There are several burl buds with some pretty chatoyance surrounding them in this board. The board has some surface blemishes from the sawblade that will sand off. I see no cracks, checks, or other significant flaws. |
