| Bodark Block B-660 1-5/8" x 2-1/2" x 8" ~1-1/4 lbs. This is a nice, relatively-small rectangular block of Bodark that, among other uses, would be suitable as the head for a small mallet. The wood is the strong golden-brown of fresh-cut, but mature Bodark heartwood with areas of red spalting (both photos). I see no cracks, checks or other flaws. |
