Texas Ebony Block TE-155 1.7" x 1.7" x 6" 0.8 lbs. This is a very nice rift-sawn block of Texas Ebony. It is entirely a dark chocolate-brown heartwood with a strong, tight grain pattern that swirls around several large burl buds. There is a very minor check at the top end of the blank, adjacent to a branch nucleation point. It is shallow (1/8") and will turn off readily. I see no other cracks or flaws. |
