Very pretty end-grain blocks of Cypress; ideal for spindle turning.  The grain is fine and even, with a light brown to golden color.   The grain is roughly parallel to the long axis of the block. 

Price is for one single block, chosen at random out of our selection.  They are S1S or S2S, showing us some very pretty grain with a hint of compression figure.

These are "imperfect" pieces.  Each has a minor challenge like a knot or a wane area.  80% or more of the block is pristine. This piece has been air-dried to 10-12% moisture content.
