| Mesquite Block M-978 3"x 3"x 11-1/2" 3-1/4 lbs. This is another beautiful end-grain block of burly Texas Honey Mesquite. It is entirely the classic reddish-brown of Mesquite heartwood, that is almost "peppered" with individual and small clusters of burl buds. The grain pattern varies from linear to a very strong and attractive undulating pattern within and around many of prominent Mesquite burl buds. I see no cracks, checks or other significant flaws. |
