Huisache Board H-1025 1" x 6" x 14.5" 2 lbs. This is a live-edge board of Texas Huisache. It's got the beautiful deep reddish brown of huisache heartwood, progressing to a think layer of yellow sapwood, and a full bark edge. Board width is measured at its widest dimension, approximately mid-board. This board has plenty of character -- lots of swirling grain and a prominent knot. There are a number of cracks in the board on the left side (see photo 1 and close-up in photo 3). Depending on use of the board, you may wish to stabilize or trim these off. Board is discounted because of the cracks. |
