Black Cherry Block BC-305 2.5" x 1.7" x 6" 0.8 lbs. This is a tricky little block of Texas Black Cherry. It is 100% light pinkish-brown heartwood. It was cut from very close to the tree’s pith, and it does include a bit of pith on the back face. Multiple through-going cracks radiate from the pith. These could be stabilized or filled for flat work. The cracks probably make this too challenging for round work. Price is discounted. |
