Pen Blanks in Texas Woods Many of my Texas woods are very attractive and can make for beautiful and eye-catching pens. As I saw logs and mill the wood for lumber and turning blanks, I am always alert for nicely-figured and colorful wood that would be suitable for such pens. I have limited quantities of the blanks listed below. They are generously sawn to "Texas size", approximately 1" by 1" by 5" to 6" and I sell most of them for $2 each with no minimum (those Mistletoe Mesquite burl and Texas Ebony blanks are $3.00 each).
